About LAMAII
Food. Wine. Cocktails.
Lamaii opened in Las Vegas Chinatown in 2019 with a simple but stubborn belief: that Thai food, at its best, belongs in the same conversation as any great cuisine in the world. Not as a curiosity. Not as an affordable alternative. As itself — complex, regional, and worth taking seriously.
Chef-Owner Bia Hawang and Sommelier-Owner Bon Atcharawan built Lamaii around that belief. Bia brings the kitchen — bold, precise, rooted in Thai tradition and reshaped by her own experience. Bon brings the cellar — unconventional, carefully chosen, built to meet the food where it lives rather than where convention says wine should go.
The result is a restaurant that feels unlike anything else in Las Vegas. The wine list favors volcanic wines, skin-contact rarities, and cult producers over prestige labels. The menu changes with the seasons but holds onto the dishes that have earned their place. The room is designed for the kind of dinner that lingers — low light, good wine, food that asks something of you.
